Information For Authors
Authors submitting scientific manuscripts to the Journal of Clinical Medicine (JoCM) are required to carefully read the following guidelines:
1. Types of Articles
The Journal of Clinical Medicine (JoCM) is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes the following types of articles:
- Original research papers;
- Review papers;
- Case reports/Case series of rare diseases;
- How-to papers;
- Design papers;
- Commentaries;
- Thesis review/Dissertation review;
- Pharmaceutical and medical scientific information.
2. Manuscript and Author Requirements
- The submitted manuscript must not have been sent or published in any other national or international journal or publication.
- Each author can appear as the first author on a maximum of two manuscripts per issue.
- Authors are responsible for the manuscript content and must comply with Vietnamese regulations.
- Authors must submit a signed commitment form (template available here).
3. Manuscript File Format
- Manuscripts should be in Microsoft Word format (*.doc, *.docx); images in *.tif or *.jpg format;
- Page size: A4 with 2.5 cm margins on all sides;
- Use Unicode encoding, Times New Roman font, size 12, with 1.5 line spacing.
4. Reference Formatting
- Authors are encouraged to use Endnote software (http://endnote.com/) for reference management;
- References must follow the Vancouver style, numbered in square brackets in the order they appear in the text [1] or [1],[2], [1],[2],[5],[6],[7],[8],[9]...;
- Do not separate Vietnamese and English references;
- References must be relevant, up-to-date, and closely related to the research topic. Do not use websites as references. A reference format includes the full names of authors (for international authors, full surname and abbreviated middle and given names), year of publication, article title, journal name (italicized), volume (issue), and pages. If a paper has multiple authors, list the first three authors followed by "et al."
